Hi, I'm a senior creative & strategic consultant

helping you massage brand communication goodness

where and whenever

it feels just right

I was chuffed to be Momentum's lead creative on such a very special experience, getting a chance to be part of what would be Nelson Mandela's last scheduled public appearance in the UK as he celebrated his 90th Birthday. The brief was to create a series of OOH and press ads on the lead up to the concert which would set the tone for many other aspects we took the lead in. I worked closely with the team at 46664 and Gary Wilson of Momentum who produced the event. We covered everything from the from the advertising to many collaterals; such as getting the ball rolling for a temporary 46664 tv channel in participating Intercontinental hotels around the world, to numerous on site details

From pitch to final delivery I was in the senior team for the national campaign integrating, and successfully making happy, three clients within one campaign;
3, Skype, and Hutchinson Whampoa. We did it all together at Albion with an open democratic creative process that just works. I brought my digital, ambient, motion graphic & experiential strengths to the table and stretched out the response to the brief beyond the above the line into a full blown 360 campaign with nearly 700 outdoor billboard sites across the UK featuring the ads, along with newspaper wraps in the "London Lite", "City AM" & "Metro". We also created loads of tasty work for D-EP and LCD screens for the London Underground network, as well as animated creative for big outdoor city screens accross the UK. The client was very happy and asked us to push the ambient and experiential elements some more

BlackBerry briefed us to highlight the GPS feature on their new Curve handset, both for a pan European online banner campaign as well as for a D-EP campaign for the London Underground network. We created a treatment that worked across various online formats as well as for the HD and SD screens on the digital escalator panel network in the UK. Bringing order out of chaos through navigation was our theme, using a visually clean execution with recognisable city skylines as the order. Simplicity both of concept and visual execution was our goal for BlackBerry. We created online versions for the UK, Germany, and Spain

I was commissioned by Imagination to create a live action and motion graphic film for the launch film of the Jaguar XKR to be shown at international motorshows on a dynamic kinetic LED screen. The project consisted of existing film footage and existing on brand design elements which were integrated with our own motion graphic animations to create an impactful and dynamic film... all a bit rock 'n roll! This version is a 16:9 edit for viewing and is not the multi screen event edit

The celebrated Apart gallery on Portobello road, which has since relocated to sunny Los Angeles, commissioned us to design and art direct a book celebrating five years of the gallery. The book had to reflect the casual individuality of the gallery’s ethos which is primarily to show young exciting talent in a non traditional gallery vibe. We devised two versions of this 182 page book; a limited edition, and a uniquely packaged collectors edition, both stamped and signed by Adrian the Gallery owner. The collectors edition integrated treats and freebies related to sponsors of shows held at the gallery; including a mini bottle of sailor jerry’s rum, a 10 track music cd, K-Swiss scratch cards, stickers, badges, a loyalty Apart credit card, a bag of pretzels, and a flyer designed to look like a cigarette from Cellux Tokyo. This was then vacuum-sealed and finally packaged in a clear plastic container. K-Swiss trainers commissioned us to design the scratch cards within, an example of integrating multiple clients/sponsors in a project. The book has been stocked in a variety of shops, such as the ICA, Magma, Cellux, Surface to Air, as well as at the gallery and other outlets around the world. Punk book design for a gallery concept which is reordering the way art is seen and sold. More like this please!

We teamed up with Specialten to put together some cracking films for their new format hardback DVD publication, one of which was to work with songwriter and performer M.I.A. I assembled an interview inter-cut by footage of her her music videos, splitting the interview into titled sections through juggling the footage around into what is a short and sweet flowing piece of work. She's a talent with a unique look and style, good luck with her new album Kala, and check out her music videos!

Working closely with the creative director of this London and New York based design consultancy, we were commissioned to design and implement their graphic identity. Our involvement covered the design of all stationary and the creation of their lookbook. The lookbook was designed as a selection of post card sized cards which could then be edited per lookbook box per the needs of each prospective client. We enjoyed full access to their studio and designs, and both photographed and utilised existing content to create stunning and informative collages. Luxurious detail for some product lines, and straight forward simplicity for other product lines... a sense of bespoke personal detail was attached to the concept and has proved to be very successful

I was brought in on this production to work alongside Campbell Orme and Mark Hough designing the intro and outro elements of the film. It was great working with these designers utilising all the stylised assets that were photographed, filmed, and designed for this production. The frenetic fast paced cutting style was great to work to, but boy the render times were long! I love working with others - big up to us all!

I was was commissioned to create a sting for the new Jaguar XK for the Frankfurt motorshow. The client required a short fast paced film using live action and graphic elements familiar with the brand guidelines. The version shown here is the live action edit, I also animated a monochrome typographical version. I am particularly fond of the animated logo at the end

Kate is a talented fashion textiles designer who was looking for a creative collaboration on how to present and brand herself on a website. With a background working with Clavin Klein, Banana Republic, and Gap for example, she was ready to expand and promote herself further. We Art Directed and built the website from scratch. We wanted to photograph her work and studio with a slight peeping tom edge, and through these images we had the look and brand for Kate solidified. Kate has since found success as the creative director of an international design consultancy

Ever since Kate created a giant silk screen print of Chris as ' el Presidente ', we knew we had a friend and a client to share our sensibilities with! Kate needed a website to express her diverse range of prints, fabrics, and photos which are uniquely beautiful and sometimes hilariously clever. We documented her studio and work, and then set about designing a simple point and click website she could update on her own in Oz. It's simple and funny with no pretensions...just like Kate! quote "...but secretly, more than all of that, i love Yorkshire pudding!"

We were approached as a creative team to conceptualise and execute a campaign aimed at creatives to build an awareness and a kudos around White Door. We worked alongside John Stuart on a photographic approach which would become part of meeting room redesigns and targeted communications. A real white door became a character that in a surreal way represented the company. We penned anagrams of ‘white door’ and created scenarios which were then photographed on location. We then organised and art directed the location shoots, followed by designing the printed materials . Unfortunately the conceptualizations for the meeting room décor was not fully realized due to the relocation of Whitedoor

Leyline Promotions is a music and events strategy promotions company that produces a variety of festivals and club nights, one of which is ‘kill All Hippies’... live rock acts with resident dj 'curator' Eddie Temple Morris. Adrian Leigh of Leyline commissioned us to create some multiple screen high octane branded visuals to accompany the live rock acts and DJ sets. This involved us filming our own assets, including stop frame animation, and designing a variety of motion graphic elements. Humorously malevolent films for all to rock along to. These projected visuals have been seen across London; including the TDK Cross Central festival, The Scala, and The Brixton Academy
